  1. Agency Description and Services

    Chiang Mai Visa Run is an agency partnering with independent drivers to facilitate the booking process for various transportation services in Thailand. Our primary offering is same-day border runs to land borders for passengers seeking visa extensions or renewals. Additionally, we provide minibus trips with drivers for diverse travel needs in Northern Thailand and throughout the rest of the country. We do not own or operate the vehicles used for passenger transportation. Our role is to streamline the reservation process for passengers seeking reliable and convenient transportation solutions.

2. Passenger Conduct

  • Behavior Expectations:
    • Passengers are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards other passengers, the driver, and any third parties.
  • Prohibited Actions:
    • Engaging in disruptive, abusive, or offensive behavior.
    • Consumption of alcohol while traveling in our vehicles.
  • Consequences:
    • The agency reserves the right to remove any passenger violating these terms without a refund.

3. Luggage Policy

  • Size Restrictions:
    • The minibus is not equipped to store large bags or backpacks.
    • Maximum Bag Size: 45 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm.
  • Large Luggage:
    • Passengers with bags exceeding the maximum size must contact the agency before booking.
  • Prohibited Items:
    • No alcohol is allowed on the minibus.

4. Arrival Time and Delays

  • No Guarantee on Exact Arrival Times:
    • Arrival times may vary due to factors such as traffic and weather conditions.
  • Passenger Responsibility:
    • Plan accordingly and allow for potential delays in your schedule.

5. Passenger Pick-up and Drop-off

  • Join-In Trips:
    • Passengers will be picked up and dropped off at one of the designated locations listed in the booking form.
  • Private Trips:
    • Passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the location of their choice within Chiang Mai or its close proximity.

6. Responsibility for Travel Documents

  • Passenger Obligation:
    • Ensure your visa, passport, and travel documents are compliant with Thai and Laos immigration regulations, as well as any other relevant authorities for your specific trip.
  • Agency Liability:
    • The agency is not liable for any issues arising from non-compliance with these regulations.

7. Insurance and Liability

  • Personal Responsibility:
    • The agency holds no responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
  • Recommendation:
    • Passengers are advised to obtain their own travel insurance for the duration of the trip.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Agency Rights:
    • The agency reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Acceptance of Changes:
    • Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation with Chiang Mai Visa Run, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
